Fully Convinced

Fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. (Romans 4:21 ESV)

Paul here is writing to the Romans explaining to them that the reason why Abraham was able to pick up his family and move to a place where God was leading him, the reason why Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son to God, the reason why Abraham was blessed by God was because Abraham was fully convinced. He wasn’t 99.9% convinced, he was 100% bought in to whatever God had for him in his life.

If God could bless an entire nation because one man was fully convinced that He was able to do what He said He would do, then what would it look like if a group of people got 100% bought in to what God’s plan is? What would happen if the people reading this post would become fully convinced? What would get accomplished for the glory of God and for the advancement of His kingdom?

Perry Noble, Senior Pastor of NewSpring Church, said that the question “What would you attempt for God if you knew you could not fail?” inspired him to plant NewSpring back in 2000. Twelve short years later, NewSpring has 7 different campuses across the state of South Carolina, has seen over 16,000 people choose to follow Christ, over 9,000 people go public with their faith through baptism, and the best is still to come. Perry Noble has a vision to reach 100,000 people for Christ across the state of South Carolina by 2020. All this because one man was, and still is, fully convinced that God is able to do what He said He would do.

So I ask you, are you FULLY CONVINCED?
