There’s No Answer to the Truth

In Boston, we have four major sports teams, the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. Now the Celtics have a player named Paul Pierce who’s nickname is “The Truth.” One of the Celtics opponents in the same conference, the Philadelphia 76er’s, had a player on their team named Allen Iverson who’s nickname is “The Answer.” Every time the Celtics played the 76er’s, the fans for the Celtics would yell out this particular saying “There’s no answer to the truth.”

Jesus said that the truth will set you free (See John 8:32). In order for you to be truly free, you can’t just see, hear, or read about the truth, you need to know it and apply it to your life. Only the truth you know can set you free. What you don’t know or apply can’t help you at all.

Further on in the book of John, Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life (See John 14:6). So Jesus is the truth, therefore, if you know Jesus you are set free. He who the Son sets free is free indeed (See John 8:36). If you want to be freed from the bondage or captivity that is holding you back, start getting to know Jesus.

Jesus not only is the truth, but He is also the answer.
The answer to sickness is Jesus
The answer to depression is Jesus
The answer to pain or hurt is Jesus
The answer to fear is Jesus
The answer to condemnation is Jesus
The answer to despair is Jesus
The answer to doubt is Jesus
The answer to sin is Jesus

The answer is Jesus!
